Blackall to Tambo - 10th June to 19thJune

After leaving Blackall it is now 10 days down the stock route to Tambo, also known as the oldest town in Outback Queensland and celebrated for the famous title of Teddie capital of Australia, famous for its Tambo Teddies. You will also see Ben with his Chicken Racing at the Royal Carrangarra Hotel while catching up with locals.  All prize money from the chicken races goes to charity so on our rest day in Tambo on 20th June we are hoping there will be a special race day to celebrate 2 charity events in the Oldest outback town in Queensland.

Our rest day in Tambo falls on the shortest day of the year, 20th June, so there is a lot to pack into the daylight hours we have. Tambo will not disappoint we are certain of that.
